Hello, Have you already seen the Nescefé Dolce Gusto capsules?, The Tassimo Capsules?, All other coffee capsules? What material are they made of? Plastic? oh yes man, Polypropylene. PP is a plastic that is heat resistant and absolutely safe. There is absolutely no problem with polypropylene plastic beeing in contact with hot water. PP is clean, pure, and safe. What material are the pieces that come in contact with boiling water of a Nespresso coffee Machine you drink coffee out? yes plastic!

Yeah, you are damn right, that's why real Espresso lover have a coffee grinder near the coffee machine and grind the beans right before brewing the espresso, just like when you drink it in a n Italian bar. That's what NexPod are for: to brew a fresh ground espresso whit your Nespresso machine. So that's the solution for real espresso lovers that do not like the standard Nespresso blends but want to make their own blend. So who's brewing the real thing man?

The whole point of the capsules is that the coffee is sealed and STAYS fresh. When you buy espresso grinded coffee it will perish within a week or maybe two. Are you going to drink a whole box of coffee in that time?!

Hello what you say is true,
but if you want to brew tea or fair trade coffee or an organic, (Biological) coffee, or true Italian coffee you have no choice. Moreover you pay more than 100$ per kg for Nespresso coffee. We prefer to pay 20$ and fill a Nexpod!

Bought the Nespresso to avoid the mess and the coffee is great.
This product is more trouble than a typical expresso machine.

Hallo Gepisch,
tanks for your comment. Yes you have to use the filter. In fact the quantity of brewed coffee coming out of the machine /capsule depends upon the grinding grade of the coffee. Too fine = slow coffee flow. Too coarse = weak - light espresso. So adjust the grinding grade to obtain the best results. The Coffee can be pressed in the capsule. The filter avoid that the coffee powder get into the cup.
Best Regards, NexPod
